Tim Potter's Netwinder Things
This page contains some links to useful things I've done with the
Netwinder systems. The netwinders are going to be part of a voice
recording and storage system in remote locations. Due to power
constraints they cannot have hard drives - only the onboard flash and
64MB RAM can be used.
- Setting up a DHCP server and NFS root
- Building a minimal Linux system
- Building a initial ramdisk and minimal kernel
- Writing a kernel and ramdisk image into flash for standalone,
diskless booting
